I=E2=80=99m contacting you to hopefully get some concerns addressed = from one of the former members of the church (not victim) who will soon be coming forward publicly about his time there. This man I spoke to who was able to verify his time at Ignite with photo evidence made some allegations of bribery against GPD. He said, =E2=80=9C[M= ark Vega] just covered himself up. Ignite paid the police and they don=E2=80=99= t talk about Chirstian [Vargas]. Why is it they blew up the Gabriel [Hemenez] situation but didn=E2=80=99t talk much about Christian [Vargas]. Christian = was forcing little girls to have sex in the prayer room upstairs. That=E2=80=99= s ridiculous.=E2=80=9D I haven=E2=80=99t seen any evidence to warrant the bribery allegations but = I can see why he alleged this because: (1) GPD hasn=E2=80=99t made any statements regarding the pastor=E2=80=99s sons cases, Vargas and Cruz, but did about t= he volenteer Hemenez cases; (2) A GPD Supplemental Report shows Mark Vega didn=E2=80=99t report alleged sexual abuse and concelaed evidence but he ha= sn=E2=80=99t been arrested or charged with evidence concealing; (3) GPD made announcments at a previous quarterly update regarding sex abuse at St Patrick Interparish but not Ignite Life Center; (4) A picture from 2022 shows former chief Lonnie Scott standing next to Mark Vega; (5) Photo evidence shows GPD Swat Commander Tony Ferro was involved with Ignite; (6) The Basketball Cop Foundation which was formed by a GPD officer built the basketball court at Ignite; and (7) no offical investigation has been annouced by GPD.
