The Austrian Interior Ministry after authorities arrested a third person connected to a foiled attack at Taylor Swift’s series of concerts in Vienna, Austria. Swift cancelled the three Austrian shows and will wrap up the European leg of her Eras Tour starting next week in London.

Why It Matters: Three people have been arrested in relation to planning the suspected terrorist attack on the 50,000-person Ernst Happel stadium in Austria’s capital. On Tuesday, authorities arrested the main suspect, a 19-year-old, as well as a 17-year-old, both Austrian citizens. The third arrest occurred on Thursday with an 18-year-old Iraqi citizen taken into custody. Authorities said the three individuals were inspired by the terrorist Islamic State group and al-Qaida, with the 19-year-old and 18-year-old pledging “an oath of allegiance” to the Islamic State group. Two of the suspects had bomb-making materials in their home. The investigation remains ongoing.
